STEPHEN HERREID was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, in 1988, the seventh child in a large family. Homeschooled, Stephen was encouraged by his musical family to play guitar. He started writing songs along with his older brother Ben. Together they started performing at cafés, pubs, and small concerts.

Influenced by greats like Jim Croce and Cat Stevens, Stephen and Ben's music is a combination of the folk-rock sound of the 1960's and 70's together with modern lyrics that reflect the struggles of contemporary relationships and society. Stephen can be contacted at steve@herreid.org.

BEN HERREID, the fourth in a family of eight, has been writing music for over five years. At age 19 Ben started his own business, Breaktime Subs, and spent many late nights writing poems and songs in between customers.
